There is really nothing super-special that I can write about this tape dispenser. But the one thing I like about this one is that it weighs nearly two pounds, and it's not filled with sand, so there won't be a mess to clean up if/when it falls off my work bench. The weight inside the body of the dispenser is a solid piece. As you could probably guess, it's made in China, but it has been a great addition to my veneering setup, and it has made taping faster/easier for me.

You can find similar dispensers online for about 15 bucks, but I include a roll of our clean-release elastic tape with the dispenser.

It has a foam rubber base which would probably prevent it from sliding around, but since my work bench always has a fine coating of dust on top, that makes the anti-slip base a bit less valuable. The color of the dispenser may vary from what is shown in picture on this page.

Instructions
Insert the plastic dispenser wheel into the center of the blue tape roll. Then locate the left and right channels inside the tape dispenser cradle and set the pins of the plastic wheel into the vertical slot of the L-channel. Because our rolls of blue tape are somewhat larger than typical rolls of tape, you’ll find that the roll will not lock into the forward part of the L-channel on the sides of the dispenser right away. After a few feet of blue tape are removed used, you can then press the roll downward and forward on the dispenser so it snaps in place at the forward edge in the L-channel.
