VeneerSupplies.com Quick Ship Program
Any product displaying the "Quick Ship" icon or text is one that we have in stock and can generally ship within 1 business day. You'll find this icon on more than 94% of our products! In most cases, if you place an order before 12pm EST Monday - Friday (excluding holidays) for Quick Ship items only, your shipment will go out on the same day. For UPS shipments, we will email you a tracking number as soon as your package is on its way. We do not provide tracking numbers for US mail shipments.
Products from VeneerSupplies.com are typically shipped via UPS or USPS. Our website synchonizes with the rate servers for these carriers and displays the most affordable method of safely delivering your package. Shipping charges are based on weight, box size and destination as shipped from Forest Hill, Maryland. The shipping charge will be displayed on the checkout page (before any payment information is needed). Insurance for full replacement value is included in the shipping charge.
After countless hours of haggling with UPS, I was able to negotiate a decent discount on UPS Ground shipments and I've coded our website to pass every bit of the discount on to our customers. I do not profit from shipping.
To determine the shipping cost for your order, simply click the 'Add to Cart' button on the product page for the item you wish to order. You'll find a shipping calculator link on the shopping cart page that will allow you to choose a shipping method and see the cost of shipping your order. A refund will be made if the actual shipping charges are significantly less than the amount calculated by the website software during checkout.
For orders under $50, there is a $2.99 handling fee.
All of the major shipping carriers are now basing their shipping charges on the weight and the size of the box. Since we ship a lot of large, light-weight boxes you could be affected by the changes that each of the carriers has implemented. We are doing everything possible to reduce your shipping costs and we have implemented a plan to make sure you never pay too much. Learn more here.
Damaged Packages or Missing Items
Should your package arrive damaged, please ask the delivery person to make a note of it. Then notify me immediately and I will work to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. Do not discard any damaged items in your order.
If an item from your order is missing/damaged and you notify me within 3 days of receipt of your package, a replacement part will be sent immediately. Please do not delay checking the contents of your order. After the 3rd day, I can not offer free replacement parts.
Address Correction Fees
Our primary shipping carriers (UPS and Fedex) charge us an address correction fee for shipments in which the customer has entered an invalid or incomplete shipping address. In this event, we will contact the customer up to two times via email if the shipping carrier identifies and adjusts an error or omission in the customer-provided shipment information. If the correction is deemed valid or if the customer does not reply to our email request for address clarification within 5 business days, a fee of $13.95 per box will be charged to the customer's credit card.
We regret that expedited shipping is not available because of the wide variety of box sizes we use and the practice of "dimensional weight" by the carriers.
Alaska and Hawaii
All of our products can be shipped to Alaska and Hawaii. You can view the shipping charge and place your order by using the website checkout. A list of the available shipping options will be shown on the checkout page.
U.S. Territories and APO Addresses
VeneerSupplies.com will gladly ship to all APO addresses through the US post office. You can view the shipping charge and place your order by using the website checkout.
We currently ship to Canada and several other countries. Please see our international orders page for more information.
Freight Forwarding Services
We will not ship any of our products to a freight forwarding service. Our recent experience with these services has been exceptionally troublesome. Additionally, there are several products and many species of veneer which can not be lawfully shipped outside the US and Canada.
