Our supplier has been in the exotic wood trade for 40 years and this is the first time he has come across birds eye zebrawood. It's a beautiful species, but the birds eye figure truly makes this an outstanding veneer, and now we offer it in a limited selection of paper-backed sheets.

  Golden or creamy white field with brown/black stripes

  Africa (Gabon, Cameroon, and Congo)

  Very hard

  Coarse, open-pored
Finishing:
  Readily accepts stains and finishes
Did You Know:
  Many cabinet makers would not consider staining zebrawood but I've seen some incredible examples of stained zebrawood projects and the results were outstanding. Don't hesitate to give it a try.
