This barbed brass insert goes into the flush-mount flange found on our vinyl and polyurethane vacuum bags. The "new style" version of this fitting works with our current lock-on connector. The "old style" version of this fitting works the lock-on connector that was included in our vacuum press kits prior to February of 2020.

Be sure to select the version of this stem insert that matches the lock-on connector you have.

You can also order an updated lock-on connector and use the new style stem on an older VeneerSupplies.com vacuum bag.

How do I remove the old brass stem insert from my vacuum bag?
As long as the flange and the "neck" on the flange that is attached to your bag are in pliable condition, you can simply spray the old brass fitting with some soapy water. Then hold the flange flat with the neck between your third and fourth fingers. Grab the end of the brass fitting with pliers. Rock and twist the stem gently while pulling it out of the flange.
