Mahogany Swirl Wood Veneer - SOLD OUT

cat-mahogany-swirl.jpgMahogany has become a kind of generic term for any one of a handful of imported, fine grain, reddish-brown wood veneers. Some of the best mahogany comes from Honduras but it has been over-harvested and is considered by many to be commercially extinct. Because of this, several other species are now imported from Africa and Asia. The most common is African mahogany known as Khaya, which typically has a darker and tighter grain. The veneers in this category could be either African or Honduran species.
