Here is our stock of prime grade Douglas fir. Because of its exceptional strength and rigidity, it is often used for fine musical instruments. The quartersawn veneers have an even grain with fine and evenly spaced vertical stripes. This is a veneer with a subtle character and warm color. No other veneer has this kind of look or appeal.
