Etimoe Wood Veneer

Etimoe VeneerThink of Etimoe as a hybrid of Koa and Mahogany. It has rich reddish-brown color and a medium texture with fine to moderate size pores. Etimoe veneer is getting hard to find again... we saw this a few years ago. Etimoe is easy to work with and the figuring can be mesmerizing. Etimoe is one veneer that doesn't show its true character until a top coat is applied. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Did You Know:
Etimoe is just one step away from being classified as endangered. Since 1998, steps have been taken to reduce logging and increase planting of this species in many parts of Africa. Luckily, Etimoe numbers are on the rise according to a recent study of rain forest woods. This is largely due to a rise in the prices of this species in the timber trade.

Tip from Joe

I've found that cell phones and tablets display reasonably accurate colors of our veneer photos.

Rendering variations on some computer monitors can cause our pictures to appear different from the actual veneer.
