Our kit building experience gives you a solid head start on the way to vacuum pressing a veneered panel. Each piece is assembled here at our warehouse by one of our skilled employees.

This option must be selected at the time that your kit is purchased. The item on this page is a service in which we will assemble your vacuum press as described below. You must also order the vacuum press kit if you are ordering this assembly service.

All rigid connections are sealed with PTFE tape. Selecting this option may add 2 days of lead-time to the shipment of your order. Our assembly method is based on the JoeWoodworker.com kit instructions. Any non-standard options, systems, designs may cause incompatibility issues. Please do not select an assembly option on this page if you are building a system that varies from the main kit instructions. The cost of the assembly option is non-refundable. All time savings shown below are approximate.

Project: EVS™
Time Savings: 50 to 60 minutes

• Assemble all of the brass manifold fittings such as the vacuum valve, brass tee's, pipe union fittings, and vacuum gauge.
• Assemble the submanifold assembly which includes the Mac valve, check valve, breather fitting, brass elbow, and vacuum filter.
• Attach barb fitting and black tube to the vacuum controller.
• Arrange/orient all fittings as shown in kit instructions.
• As a bonus, we will also crimp ferrules to the ends of main vacuum hose.

Project: V2™ (all models)
Time Savings: 30 to 40 minutes

• Assemble the Mac valve, venturi, breather fitting, and quick connector.
• Assemble all of the brass manifold fittings including the vacuum gauge.
• Arrange/orient all fittings as shown in kit instructions.
• Attach barb fitting and black tube to the vacuum controller.
• As a bonus, we will also crimp ferrules to the ends of main vacuum hose.

Excel 1™ / Excel 5™
Time Savings: 20 to 30 minutes
Price: $29.50

• We will assemble all parts of the manifold and crimp on the brass ferrules.
• You'll need to attach the muffler and manifold to the pump.
• Then just plug it in, dial-in the vacuum setting, and attach it to your vacuum bag.
• The original instructions for the vacuum pump and assembly are included.

Project: CRS™
Time Savings: 20 minutes

• Assemble all of the brass manifold fittings which includes the vacuum valve, brass barbs, and vacuum tube.
• Arrange/orient all fittings as shown in kit instructions.
• You will simply need to attach the body of the kit to the vacuum pump and set the vacuum adjustment.
