Brass Swivel Adapter
Product Description
A great brass fitting that swivels without losing vacuum pressure. This item replaces the barb fitting that attaches to the lock-on connector and keeps the vacuum line from twisting.
Available for 3/8" ID tubing only.

Expensive But Worth It

My vacuum jig set up is different that what is shown on the Joe Woodworker website and I my application requires a thineer but longer vacuum house. I like to get the connection to the vacuum bag made quickly and this fitting allows me todo that. I can connect the vacuum and then allow the swivel to rotate so that I can untangle the hose if needed. This fitting has a solid feel and appears to be well made. Shipping was fairly reasonable and of course, the customer support here is great.

I have to admit that I dont have a veneer press but I bought 20 of these from this website and use them for a vacuum assisted photo matting press. This is the only place I have ever found to offer this type which is specifically designed for vacuum (not pressure). Other places sell them for $10 and they dont work as good because they have silicone in them that wears out. I dont know how these units work but they never leak. These are great fittings that defy the odds. A+
