Teak is commonly used on exterior projects but its also readily found on boats and nautical/marine furniture. Teak was one of the most exploited wood species for nearly thirty years (beginning in the 60's). Because of this, high-end teak logs are exceedingly rare and many exporting countries are imposing very tight restrictions on the sale and felling of teak trees.
If you are looking for large sheets of this species, we also offer it in AA grade paper-backed veneer that can be applied with contact cement or any other veneer adhesive.
