Spanish Cedar Wood Veneer

Spanish Cedar VeneerNo other wood charms the sense of smell like Spanish cedar. It is often used for the inside lining in a humidor but we've recently seen it being used to line the bottoms of clothes drawers. Much of our stock is figured cedar and these are typically used on external projects surfaces because of the shimmering character. With a simple clear finish coat, you can pop the figure and make this species the focus of wood on a high-end project.

You will see cedar oil spots on many of our sheets. That is because they are freshly sliced. It is important to remember that these oils will dry off after several weeks but you dont need to wait when applying a finish. The oil will not foul the finish.

Looking for large sheets of this species? We also offer it in AA grade paper-backed veneer, which can be applied with contact cement or any other veneer adhesive.
